Welcome Kim. You are the eyes and ears for any vet. Please call the neuro and report the signs indicating Ashely is in pain. Let us know the adjustments made in mgs and frequency dosing. What date is carprofen to stop? Does she stay dry expressing session to session. Or are you finding leaks in her bedding? How often are you expressing her bladder? You can also express for poop. It is not the health concern of UTIs that bladder expressing is. But more that Ashley does not suffer anxiety of finding body waste where she sleeps. Poop Expressing here: dodgerslist.com/2020/05/05/bladder-bowel-care/#poopHome care for a heavy dog can require some thinking out of the box. Our members have noted some great tips and ideas. Check them out here: dodgerslist.com/2022/02/10/large-dog-care-tips-ivdd/Is there a particular area you have concerns...we'd like to address those...let us know. IF you specifically do some happy talk, will she give a happy tail wag? That is the first sign of self-healing nerve repair. Did the neuro say she had deep pain sensation on discharge day?
How did you find the Forum? a friend, a vet, Googling?
