We have a dog with IVDD, was a surgical candidate last November at OVC in Ontario, recovered perfectly. He is currently starting back to short walks after another 8 weeks of crate rest following another disc episode in his back and neck. We only walk him with a harness but we are having problems finding harnesses that fit well. Any suggestions?

Hi Paula,
My dogs name is Angus. He is a wire haired Doxie, was supposed to be a mini but he's more a "tweenie". We adopted him from a family member, so he was neutered at 3 years old. He is therefore quite thick through his chest and shoulders. So when we find a harness that fits those areas they are usually too big elsewhere. Thank you so much for your advice. I will look into those options.

When you locate a good fitting harness for Angus, we'd love a review and maybe a photo to help other members looking for a harness to fit their chesty dog.

I will for sure! I want to do what's best for him. Between the surgery and now the recent crate rest again he's had a tough life
