A "Helpful Member" designation means the member is being recognized for the willingness to share and provide good and accurate IVDD information or care tips to help a dog. How does one get added to the "Helpful Member" group? The Forum Moderators observe and want to recognize those members paying forward for the help they have benefited from in the past or are currently receiving. Members are selected for the "Helpful Member" group because they demonstrate good IVDD knowledge and willingness to share and help out other members. What to do to be recognized as a Helpful Member: • Simple: post on the conservative or surgery board where there's a question you know the answer to! If your information is a guess or might not be that helpful, you should wait for another member or Moderator. • Make sure your responses are well-detailed, easy to understand and provide hope! Very often the answer to help a member exists on the Main Dodgerslist Website dodgerslist.com A link to an article can easily be found by using the orange search bar at top of each web page. What to avoid:• Avoid giving information that is off topic and not pertinent information to the issue at hand. • Avoid short "me too" type of posts which do not include additional helpful information. People like well-wishing, but not when they were expecting the post to be a suggestion or answer to their dog's issue.
