Today is 8 weeks since the yelp, noodles was literally rooling over in her crate yesturday. she is always shakeing her self , like trying to get water off her, is that bad? Can I train her to stop that? I ve read every artical on this site. She can walk Preaty good , just she's never gone more than a few feet at a time. she still has good muscle tone , do I have to wait another week for her first 3 min walk if she already walks 2-4 yards 4-times a day at potty times? Is there any other "after crate rest" exercise sample plans?

Aaron, the crating when you leave your house, is to protect Noodles from doing what she is not supposed to, that is jump up or down where you are not there to supervise. Most dogs just sleep when the owner is gone, so she will be sleeping in her "den" the recovery suite. If you can be assured she has no way to jump off your bed in the middle of the night, then she can sleep in bed with you again. Mattress on the ground certainly would be safe for Noodles with a short ramp down the mattress height of 6" to higher with some of the newer mattresses + box spring, etc. if that is something you are willing to do. You can get a good idea on the things you can do to make your home back friendly, how to manage after 8 weeks of rest is over in our treasure trove of all things IVDD: www.dodgerslist.com/literature.htm#afterrest

I'm lucky enough to have a rancher house is a single floor no steps inside and I can close off the bedroom and room with the couch. in that case Noodles could be walking around?

The sample plan can start today with increasing to approx 8 yards up an down hallway. The guide is just that, Noodles may be able to handle a bit more walking, you are there we are not. The idea is to watch that she does not get sore, let her rest, then increase walking if all is good. How would you tell if it is muscle soreness or a dreaded different disc problem, that is why going slow is good. When you, yourself, get sore it takes some time maybe next day to find out you did too much and your muscles are tender. www.dodgerslist.com/literature/AfterCrateRest.htmNoodles could be then left alone in your home if you are sure she can't jump. Good luck on training a dog to not shake! LOL
