Hi,,,I wrote in a got GREAT help from you and Linda about two years ago... just saw that you changed to this forum and am a little confused yet on how to use it, but my guy has a relapse maybe once a year.. seems he scratches his bed up in his crate and then throws himself out of whack. The vet has a refillable script of Dermax.. about a week and he is back to normal. I recently heard that Nusentia/Regenex is a wonderful joint supplement that I should maybe be using. Do you have any info or other suggestions for supplements of this nature?

Well, hello, glade to hear Dodgerslist was of help. No matter where you post we can find you on the Forum! LOL so you did it correctly, you posted! Here on the Forum we just use first names. Mine is Paula, what is yours again? And what is your pup's name? Did he do conservative treatment or have surgery 2 years ago? We have a good article on supplements as a good start place for boning up on what they do or don't do. www.dodgerslist.com/literature/Supplements.htm I"m a little confused about a disc episode that clears up in one week, though. A disc episode means their might have been tiny little cracks on the surface of the disc arising causing a bulge into the spinal cord. Both the tear to a disc is painful and the ensuing swelling of the spinal cord. Limited movement is the treatment to let the disc heal and that takes 8 weeks for secure scar tissue can form. Look forward to being re-introduced to your pup.
