Due to acute hind limb paralysis, Hazel underwent a right T10-11-12, left T12-12-L1, right L1-2-3 hemilaminectomy with fenestration of T11-12, T12-13, T13-L1, and L1-2 to remove a large amount of ruptured disc material and hemorrhage.
No record of accident or physical injury.
Hazel requires bladder expression but shows increasing signs of muscle engagement in her hindquarters. She cannot walk but is showing increasing signs of muscle engagement in her legs/tail- post surgery her legs/tail hung completely limp. Now there is trembling, slight resistance to ROM in legs, and trembling/slight wag in tail. We have started PT and light work per videos on DodgersList. Seeking a dogsitter in the Culver City area with IVDD experience- PT and bladder expression while I go back to Arkansas and deal with dementia and express my parents' bladders for a few days .
Will pay going rate or trade dogsitting time when back.
