I am very glad that Baxter is doing so well. He is very photogenic!
Taking the right steps at the first sign of a relapse can save a lot of grief and Baxter can remain his perky self.

Baxter is very handsome and looks so happy!! Happy 13th birthday. My Nala just turned 13 also.
It's so reassuring to know what to do during an episode isn't it?
And taking precautions gives you back a measure of control IVDD has taken away!
Congratulations on how well Baxter is doing!!

My sweet boy turned 15!! This past August. So thankful we had the support of dodgerslist. I was hoping to post some pictures of my old man so hopefully I can figure it out. He still has a slight little awkward ‘trot’ but does so well. Thank you again and hoping my boy stays healthy and in our lives as long as he can
Dec 12, 2021 update from Britanny: We said goodbye to my loving 17.4 year old Baxter last week. He was a successful grad of crate rest, acupuncture and the support of this group when he was 12. He made us smile every single day and we are crushed to lose such a wonderful member of our family. I got Baxter when I was 19 because I fell in love with the doxies big personality in a cute short little package. I had no idea how much he would impact my life. We will forever be grateful for the time we spent with us. We have an adjustable set of wheels (he tried them once- wasn’t a fan) and a small stroller (used twice) to anyone who is in need that’s willing to pay shipping or is in upstate New York for pick up in the capital district or Utica area. I also frequent Jersey city, Long Island and Connecticut on a semi regular basis. Thank you so much to dodgerslist for helping us through Bat’s injury and contributing to 5 more happy wonderful years with our boy.

Brittany, my heart aches for you and your family with the passing of Baxter. Looking at all the pictures you've posted, it can be seen he was indeed a special boy with a special place in your hearts. We are so honored we could play a roll in helping you care for Bat for those good number of happy years ahead with his family.
