Hi guys! Just an update from home Sorry it's taken so long - just getting the hang of our daily new routines Link seems to improve a little every day - and the better he gets, the more energy he gets - so thats a bit of a challenge! I was a bit worried at first the day after the trip home that he may have been regressing a bit, but I've been in close touch with the hospital and they said everything seemed normal for a week post surgery (And the travel would be exhausting for the little guy, too)(and I am of course worrying about EVERYTHING) Since then - he improves every single day! The PT we were prescribed is bicycle motions and stretches 2 - 3 times a day on the hind legs - and standing for short stretches with a sling (which is pretty much what we do at pee time! Which he is also doing awesome at) I'm noticing the PT seems to help a LOT - and he always has a nice rest after! (Your video on PT is a HUGE help btw!!!) Our challenge now is to keep him relaxed because he's getting his energy back- but he's really doing awesome. I am so so proud of him!!! Our first follow up appointment is on monday - and then in a month! His crate rest is 4-6 weeks - and his surgery was april 3 I'll update more soon! Xoxo

Hi Alison! Congratulations to Link and to you for getting him to graduation day! Here is a link to read about how to gradually ease Link back into activity. His stamina and muscles have to be built back up in an easy does it kind of way.. Read this link to find out how www.dodgerslist.com/literature/AfterCrateRest.htm
