Beau is out of crate rest and love his new freedom. He is still without use of his back legs but it doesn't seem to phase him. He can drag himself like no tomorrow. We limit his dragging as to not cause sores. He really loves to snuggle with us. His wheels are being built and should be here soon. We are still doing massage and ROM and hydrotherapy. We are not giving up hope that he will walk again. He is a happy dog!!!!  |

Hi Chris! Welcome to the new forum! Very glad to hear Beau has graduated crate rest and getting along so well despite not having the use of his back legs. Proof that dogs do their best no matter what the situation. They don't let anything get them down.. Keep up all the wonderful therapy you are giving him..Here are some links for ideas for easing back into life after crate rest graduation.. Beau now has his wheels and is doing very well. We are still hopeful for him to walk again.

Glad Beau is enjoying his wheels! Dogs have a never give up spirit and we all could learn a lot from them! Glad you have his hopeful spirit!
