Having 2 miniature dachshunds with IVDD histories and moving around a lot we always struggle with finding a knowledgeable and affordable vet. Willow had a major episode in 2014 when we lived in Los Angeles. When she began showing symptoms in 2017 we visited VCA Jericho and they were wonderful (fortunately early intervention, a short rimadyl course and crate rest kept it from becoming a major episode). Grateful to this message board for my early years of dealing with the stress of IVDD. Years later its easier to see the big picture. There is hope!
