Aleks, so good to hear the chemo treatment has caused a turn around. Access to Dr. Jose Diaz, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology) right there in Calgary was a definite godsend for Doglog in timeliness to treatment!!!

Hi Julie,
Doglog made a complete turnaround. Once the Cytosar treatment started in the hospital she started improving by the hour, and within a week she was fully back to her playful self. It's been an unbelieveable journey.
We now have a treatment protocol which includes Cytosar injections once a month to supress her immune system, and an ongoing steroid treatment (Predisone), which will need to be tapered over a long period of time. It is possible she will need a very low dose indefinitely. But because she responded so well to treatment we are hopeful that she will have a great quality of life.
Thank you and take care.

I am so glad to hear this good news. Some dogs do need to be on a low dose of pred indefinitely if that is what Doglog needs.
It sounds like she will have a great quality of life.
