Thank you so much for all your support and advice through Jesse's healing process. We are in a far better state than we were 8 weeks ago. I still find it astonishing that even with years and years of practice and research there are vets out there that still offer euthanasia as a solution. All pet owners are very grateful to have Dodgerlists to turn to.
Before posting on here earlier this week, I actually shot Dogs to go an email and they like you recommended a harness/sling to help Jesse in his physically training. The website they listed was walkboutharnesses.com. They have a lot of great testomonials and have a variety of support products for your pet. I already placed my order and can't wait to get Jesse back to his normal self.

Laurie at www.dogstogo.net is a retired neuro vet technician. She IS very good in helping and with suggestions. With graduation this Saturday Jan 16, sounds like the harness will be arriving in time to start that gradual program of PT/sling walks. You have done a really terrific job in helping Jesse heal with strict rest. We wish every vet and owner knew what you have witnessed with your eyes and give these dogs a chance to heal. We invite you to hop on to our educational bandwagon team where you can pay forward for what you have learned by helping us extend our educational reach!
We depend on you. Here are two ways to help... -- "Share" our FB posts www.facebook.com/Dodgerslist-- Hand carry our literature to your vets. When in conversation at the grocery store line or wherever you may meet breeds most prone to IVDD (Dachshunds, Beagles, Poodles, Spaniels, Shih Tzus, Pekingese, and Chihuahuas) give out our little cards. Ask Linda to send you a free packet: www.dodgerslist.com/literature/litorder.htmPlease don't be a stranger to the Forum, you have learned much and can give good hope to new members just starting a scary journey. Pop in when you can so we can follow Jesse's progress after graduation. Remember, too, to get your camera out for a graduation picture and a few sentences for the 2016 Dodgerslist PhotoGallery: LOGIN www.dodgerslist.com/gallery/ : username: Dachsie password: dodgerslist14
