Thank you for all the suggestions. I ended up taking Chloe to Summit Veterinary Referral Center in Lakewood/Tacoma (I live in Edmonds, WA) on a Saturday because the pain was not too much for any more conservative treatment (Ironically, I believe it was the pets steps/ramp I got specifically for her safety that caused the problem. She was chasing her puppy and slammed into one of the steps that had slipped out of its groove and flew up as she was chasing him. The next day, she was in serious pain and it got worse from there). Dr. Finnerty preformed the surgery on Saturday night which included an MRI. I was quoted a price of around $5600 for the MRI and surgery plus two days care. They ended up charging me slightly over $5000. Another place 15 minutes from my house quoted me a price of $7500. It's definitely worth the drive. It's a month out and Chloe is doing great.
