[Original subject line:Back leg paralysis ]
Asti is 8yo mini dachshund, 13 pounds. Has had one previous episode of stage 1 that was resolved with laser and meds. Jumped slightly to kiss my face when I was bent over picking something up and began screaming. I picked her up to see if she had stepped on something ( we were outside). Carried her in house where she stopped screaming. I set her down and could see immediately her back legs were gone. I put her in a crate and drove straight to MSU. She reportedly still has deep pain sensation and was admitted to see Neuro today.
