So, 1 week today with Peteys toe grips. I said I would let you know about which glue worked the best. 100% for the super glue. None have fallen off. 4 with the nail glue fell off early on ,and I replaced those with super glue. So SUPER GLUE wins! They are all still very secure with the super glue.

Update on Petey. Petey is doing well, getting around like a champ. He mostly has free roam as he pleases, hasn't attempted to jump up on anything. Not too much to worry about him getting rambunctious as he really hasn't been that active in a couple years, I think due to his vision not being too good.He still has great hearing. If I see him trying to run, all I have to say is "walk" and he does. He's a good boy. He loves his pen and goes in and takes his long naps.Nail grip update: it will be 2 weeks tomorrow that he had them put on and all superglue grips are still on and are all very secure, the 4 I replaced that were on with nail glue, got replaced with super glue and are all secure. I even got to see him do that back leg kick after he went to the bathroom with no problem. So all is well here and I'm happy with the results of the DIY nail grips

Just stopping in to give a quick update on Petey. Petey is doing well. It seems like he took a liking to his rest crate ,so that is still up His floor grips were still on, when I had to remove them to do some nail clipping. Some took a little more effort to get off, but not much. I applied a second set and they're still on , 2 weeks tomorrow,(2/28/20). Sending prayers to all our IVDD doggies for healing or progress.

Cindy, you know quite a few dogs do find they have a liking for their recovery suite well after graduation. It seems to be their own private den where they can take a nap, chew on a toy, or get away from it all. Glad to hear Petey loves his private den, too. Appears you found an excellent DIY toe grip solution. When you get a chance, you might like to share on the Footware discussion here on the Graduate board: dodgerslist.boards.net/thread/1564/footwear-harnesses-scooting-garmentsWe do love hearing that all is going well with Petey and look forward to the periodica updates from you!
