Dorthia, any injury hurts and is stiff when it gets colder. Warm up your area and make sure she is cozy and comfortable. That said keep in mind the signs of pain and reassess every now and then.
Is there still currently pain? -shivering, trembling -yelping when picked up or moved -tight tense tummy -can’t find a comfortable position -arched back Yes? Not their normal perky selves? - reluctant to move much in crate such as shift positions or slow to move - Holding front or back leg flamingo style not wanting to bear weight - head held high or nose to the ground
She has been doing so well, just keep her warm

I think Stella may be having a relapse. I feel maybe my California home is not the right environment for her. She is just way too active here.

Dorthia, a relapse happens during the time the disc is healing. Caused by too much movement for the early healing disc's scar tissue. Stella last had an epieode back in July 2019.
In what way do you believe she is too active.... what is she doing exactly?
Today, what do you observe regarding pain, if any? SIGNS OF PAIN: ◻︎ shivering-trembling ◻︎ yelping when picked up or moved ◻︎ slow to move ◻︎ tight tense tummy ◻︎ arched back, ears pinned back ◻︎ head held high or nose to the ground. ◻︎ restless, can't find a comfortable position ◻︎ slow or reluctant to move much in crate such as shift positions ◻︎ looks up with just eyes and does not move head and neck easily. ◻︎ not eating due to painful chewing or in too much overall pain ◻︎ holds front or back leg flamingo style not wanting to bear weight ◻︎ not their normal perky selves

Stella is doing better now. I gave her pain killers for a few days. She seems fine now. I just keep sweaters on her. I think the cold was causing her to hurt. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 everyone.

I am glad to hear that Stella is doing well. Cold can definitely make a dog ( or person) uncomfortable.
Merry Christmas to you also.
