ok, thank you for the link. I will keep and eye on it and let y’all know if this goes away or gets better. Everything else about him is fine and he’s only done it twice. So far he hasn’t done it today.
Update** I found a sore spot on his left leg where has been biting.

Let us know what your vet thinks...maybe allergy, maybe neuropathic pain??

Here is a picture of the area (if it loads). It's not huge or noticeable, but he did just start doing this last night. I had to go to work, so he has an e-collar on until I can go see the vet. Besides him going after that area, he's normal. He ate his food, went on his walk, and is going to the bathroom just fine. I have had thoughts that he has allergies, but never confirmed it. Thanks.

Keeping the e-collar on Bruno is a good plan. Whether the problem turns out to be allergies or neuropathic pain, the collar will protect his leg until you can get advice from the vet

Tina thank you for sharing this journey on this board. You ask and have concerns that I think about concerning the future with my Jax. Hugs to Bruno

**update** Took Bruno to the vet this morning. Same one that diagnosed him with IVDD. She said all neuro signs are looking great and she’s really happy with how he’s doing.
She saw the spots where he’s been scratching and nipping at. She also saw some scratches/irritation on his back which I didn’t see before the visit.
She says it’s probably environmental allergies and put him on Apoquel 2x a day for two weeks and then it will be 1x a day for two weeks after that. She also recommended Benadryl to help with his anxiety. I am to call her after two weeks to see if his symptoms are any better.
I mentioned the leg twitching and she said that is a sign of him trying to resist the itch.

I'm glad to hear that the vet diagnosed allergies rather than neuropathy, Tina. Allergies are no fun but hopefully the meds will help Bruno to feel better soon.
