WHAT GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dusty and Bailey, your new friend from Philly, is very proud!!!!
Fonzie is doing well. Really trying to get around and it seems like as I correct his back feet to stand, thinks are clicking! HE stood perfectly after I carried him to go out!
I am in Colorado for that work trip and we dropped Fonz off back at the hospital to board him. I had no other help or options, but they KNOW him there and what he needs and he will get his sutures out and check up with doc! It was adorable all of the nurses and front desk were so friendly and said "Fonzie's baaaack!" (he has quite the snugglebug reputation)
My heart is happy for your furry kiddos!

Oh Amy! That is wonderful news! Bailey sends his love to you both. Once they figure out that back leg things do get moving. I still have to position Bailey's when he is peeing but other than that he is really figuring it out. Fonzie does indeed look like a love bug! I'm sure they are so glad to have him visiting again.
I hope your trip goes well and you get back to I bet the Fonz will be cruising!

I am THRILLED to report that Dusty started walking last week, 3 weeks post surgery. He went to the vet yesterday as it was the completion of his 4 weeks crate rest and he got a great bill of health. He is still wobbly (I call him weeble) but he can really get around and should make a full recovery over time. I bought him a lil backbracer to keep him steady and I have ordered a swimming vest to continue with his therapy. Thank you again Dodgerslist for all your support and help through this rough time. Love and prayers to all doggies currently recovering.

That is so wonderful! Isn't is amazing how good it feels to see them get their paws back on the ground! Go Dusty!!!
